Delicious! Juicy! Perfect flavor! It's on the second floor. Takeout only at window. A hidden gem!

I just arrived from Tehran. and I'm hungry I went to Yakta restaurant Everything was good good food good atmosphere and friendly staff Thank you and God bless you

I had 5 guests and ordered from Yekta. Put in my order a day ahead and he had a FANTASTIC party style platter prepared for us (to go order). The kebab's are incredibly juicy and fresh. Take-out kababs usually end up dry, but these were perfect. He had everything timed perfectly for my pick-up time. The rice was delicious! The owner had prepared everything himself. It's a small business (no on-site dining area) and he really tries hard to make everything perfect. One of my guests only eats fish and Yekta accommodated us with one order of delicious salmon. It's not on their menu, but he will prepare it if you ask. There are tons of Persian restaurants in W.LA and Westwood. I've ordered from them all. And some of them are pretty good. But from now on, I'm only gonna order from Yekta. Their kabab's were the best I've had in this town! Thank you Yekta!

HUGE portions and the food tasted heavenly! Owner was super friendly and showed me how the food was made. Ordered the gheymey with eggplant and tahdig to share with my boyfriend. I've never had either dish but oh my god it was so good! Tahdig (browned rice at the bottom of the pot) was so crunchy and savory, and I couldn't stop eating the gheymey! Make sure to call ahead since this place usually does catering, but they're more than happy to accommodate your take out order despite the pandemic and all:) I tried ordering online at first and it wasn't clear if the order went through, but the owner told me to just check if my card was charged and to call back later and pay if it wasn't. The owner didn't have tahdig on hand but we got lucky that another catering order came through, and he gave us all the remaining rice too.

Yekta catered our event for 85 people. Everything that night was lovely, but the food was what people spoke of the most. Everything was absolutely delicious. We had so much food! But, people kept returning for more until everything was gone. I could not believe how much people ate. To this day, people still comment about the food and that was over two years ago. Yekta continues to be my go to, for middle-eastern food. I've been to so many Persian restaurants in LA, and Yekta is up there with the best tasting I've had so far. You can't go wrong. Also, they are not just catering. You can pre-order takeout!

Best food quality ever in Los Angeles! Yekta catering has the most delicious Persian stews (Gheymeh and Ghorme Sabzi). I also love their Baghali-polo and chicken kabob. Although it's only a catering now (not a restaurant anymore) but you can pick up smaller orders too. Make sure you call him ahead of time as he preps the food fresh.

I had a very good takeout experience here. A very delicious Gheyme stew, one if the best i've ever had, and he gave me a Karafs stew sample for free as well :) call ahead to order take-out (not sure if they are open during the pandemic). No dine-in. Also they are located on the second level in case you can't find the physical location.

I bought kabab and rice. This was the best persian food I ever had. The kabab was very tasty and delicious. The is ample parking and fast service.

Some of the most flavorful Persian Stews and Kabobs. You wont find a giant plate of rice and meat because it's more about the quality than the quantity. Make sure you ask the owners about what they recommended that day and explore. The owner is a big sports fan so if you want to talk about the Atlanta Braves or Dallas Cowboys, he'll be your friend.... Try the "Tahdig" the crunchy rice from the bottom of the pot topped with their daily stew. Also their "Shirazi" Salad which is a mix of cucumber, tomato, onions and bell peppers(their addition)... The Cornish game hen is great, if they have it in stock and so is their "Barg Kabob" Fillet Mignon. Persian food is great, you just have to try everything!
